About Us
Cherokee Country Club (CCC) swim team is affliliated with Cherokee Country Club in Knoxville, Tennessee. We are a member of GKAISA (Greater Knoxville Area Interclub Swimming Association). We compete in League 4 versus various teams in the Knoxville area. Our season begins after Memorial Day and runs through the conclusion of the annual GKAISA City meet in July. Our team members range in age from 5-18 years old.
We strive to teach all members of the team all four competitive strokes - butterfly, backstroke, breaststroke, and freestyle. We also teach diving and turns. At CCC, we want to improve our skills in the water while placing emphasis on the importance of being on a team; but, we also want to have FUN! Swimming is the greatest sport and we want to share that with all of our members!
